Photo obviously only for attention. In the past two weeks I have been lucky enough to do an appraisal on a property right next to where I spent the first 5 years of my life. Back in the early 70’s when 4foot triangle wire fences were all that kept the kids and pets in the yard, separated you from your side AND back neighbours. No such thing as privacy back then you’re having a BBQ half the street can see and the street behind you too 🤣 I remember being 5 years old crossing the road out front of our house and walking by myself to and from school. I can also remember hearing Mrs Anker giving piano lessons, so if you lived in that part of Kawerau in the early 70’s you know where I’ve been appraising, those beautiful solidly built homes🤩

I’m walking around Kawerau all this week and next, I think I’ve covered maybe 1/3 because you know stopping and talking to dogs and sometimes people too. Once again all the dogs are behind fences and once they give me a sniff are happy enough to have behind the ear scratches, the bigger they are the more drool they produce and the more snuggles they want 😍
