With Chris growing up in Whangamata and Katie having a lifetime of holidaying here it was an easy choice for Chris and Katie to move to Whangamata to start their family, business and enjoy what the area has to offer. After a successful career in sales, business and marketing Chris knew he had the essential skills to allow him to be successful in real estate. Chris quickly became one of Whangamta’s top sales agents with his sound knowledge and easy communication skills. He is transparent with customers and has a strong work ethic that drives him to get the best results for his clients. After completing a Bachelor of Education Katie went into a career in primary teaching working in Auckland, Papamoa and Whangamata. With over a decade in Teaching, including leadership positions, Katie has gained the skills of communication and management to allow her to be successful in real estate. In 2023 with Chris’s business partner Pete Shepard moving to Nelson, Katie decided to team up with her husband Chris Speedy in Whangamata Real Estate. Chris is a people person and his focus on customer service and detailed approach will ensure he provides clients with a positive and stress free service. With his multiple years of experience and in depth knowledge of the real estate process you know your property sale or purchase is in safe hands. With Katie teaming up and utilising her skills they make a strong team you can trust.
