I play an active role in the community as a member of the local business association and through my volunteer work helping the local school and social organisations. My husband and I foster kids too, which is a great source of pride for us. Whangarei and Hikurangi are lovely warm and safe communities with hard working people. The nature here is beyond beautiful and the climate is the envy of my family and friends back home in Latvia, EU.
