Offering a wealth of experience, Melanie has been in property management for over 15 years. Melanie was in business with Mike Austin sourcing investment properties for clients which also provided a full property management service. Melanie found that she excelled in attention to detail and accountability, combined with her honest and fair approach, lent itself to her being an effective property manager. After the family business was sold and with previous clients knocking on the door wanting her services, it was a natural progression to take her skills and expertise and start a property management business along with her husband Dave, which evolved into Infinity Property Management. With a desire to provide a personalised service to suit their clients and their needs, and with her extensive background and vast knowledge, Melanie is confident of being able to deliver a personalised and professional service to all her clients.
As a team Melanie and Dave provide a unique edge on Property Management having been both tenants, homeowners and landlords themselves. They understand the importance of both parties when it comes to managing a successful tenancy. They feel strongly about operating with the highest level of integrity and transparency. They know how important it is to have great communication when managing a property and work hard to give property owners the reassurance that their investment is being managed professionally and in a cost-effective way. This year, Melanie successfully completed the Level 4 NZ Certificate in Residential Property Management. Armed with years of experience, Melanie flew through the course and is now prepared for the inevitable regulation of the residential property management sector that is likely to require property managers to be qualified.
