🏆 Well… this was a pretty special moment!

I’m incredibly proud to have received the 2026 Rising Star Award with Pukeko Rental Managers.

Starting and growing my own property management business has involved plenty of hard work, long days, learning, problem solving and probably more cups of coffee than I’d like to admit! So to have that work recognised by Pukeko really does mean a lot.

For me, though, the biggest reward is seeing the business grow and knowing that landlords across Whangarei and Northland are trusting me to manage and care for their rental properties.

I’ve always wanted to offer personal, hands-on property management where my landlords and tenants know exactly who they’re dealing with... and where every home is looked after as though it were my own.

A huge thank you to my clients, tenants, tradies, suppliers and everyone who has supported me along the way. You’ve all played a part in getting me here.

💙 What a lovely way to finish off the week!

There’s nothing quite like heading into the weekend with some wonderful feedback from one of my fabulous clients. 😊

I genuinely love what I do, and knowing that my clients feel supported, listened to, and well looked after makes all the running around, phone calls and busy days completely worth it!

A pretty nice note to end the working week on, I’d say.

📸 Moving day is exciting… but before you unpack the boxes, take a few photos!

When you first move into a rental property, it’s a great idea to take your own clear photos of the home, especially any existing marks, scratches, wear or damage.

Why? Because several months (or years) down the track, it can be pretty hard to remember whether that little mark on the wall was already there when you moved in. 😅 Having dated photos gives you your own record of the property’s condition from day one and can be really helpful when it comes time to move out and sort the bond.

Think of it as a little bit of extra backup for future you. Hopefully you’ll never need it, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry!

I also take photos of pre tenancy but I’m all about making renting as clear and straightforward as possible for my tenants, so if you’re ever unsure about something during your tenancy, just ask. 🏡
