Some lawns just don’t need much explaining 😃

⚠️ Our June newsletter is out — and there's some important stuff in there this month.

We're currently seeing some serious grass grub damage out there across Southland lawns. It's bad this year. If your lawn has soft or spongy patches, areas that lift away easily, or you've got birds repeatedly pecking at the same spots — grass grubs are very likely the cause. Left untreated it spreads fast, but the good news is we can sort it with a treatment that gives 6–9 months of protection.

This month we're also covering moss, winter fertilising, and we've got a handful of landscaping spaces left in July and August — plus Spring renovation bookings are now open and already filling up.

Earlier this year this lawn had a full renovation - and look at it now 🌱 There are still a few patches filling in where the shade hits hardest, and it’s recovering from a rouge grass treatment, but honestly what a turn around 🫡

This client is now on our Greenkeepers package and we are looking forward to seeing how this lawn improves following our treatment program 💚

Not sure if George was here to treat the lawn or just soak up the views 😅 Either way we will take it. Another visit done...

Even the best lawns can start looking a little tired at this time of year 🍂

This one belongs to one of our clients — and while it’s looking a touch hungry right now, we’ve already got it sorted. At this month’s visit we applied a liquid fertiliser directly to the leaf, which is hands-down the best way to feed a lawn when the soil is cold and slow. No waiting around for granules to break down — just fast, efficient nutrition right where the plant needs it.

A well-fed lawn through winter means better colour, stronger disease resistance, and a much quicker bounce-back come spring.

When the clients sending through photos because they are proud of their lawn… we know we’re doing something right 🙌🏻🌱

This lawn was renovated mid-summer and has come through beautifully. With a bit of maintenance and reel mowing, it’s now looking absolutely unreal heading into the cooler months.

The stripes, the density, the colour 👌

A look at this client lawn from our April 26 visit, through to how it’s looking now in May.
