Puerto Armuelles is finally getting attention from the National Surf Circuit. Did you know there are quite a lot of good surf spots in Puerto? I know there are a few resident surfers that are not excited about this information getting out ~ they've enjoyed having the waves all to themselves! There are 5 spots listed on this map, but there are at least another 5 around Punta Burica and Isla Burica. If you are a surfer, make sure you test out all of them since they all offer a different ride.

Here is a nice overview of the main coastal neighborhoods in Puerto Armuelles. You can also see where the pier is, which is downtown Puerto, the light green open strip running parallel to the coast (in the center) is the airport, and Las Palmas neighborhood above the airport. It's a good perspective of our little beach town!

Did you know we now have an active Tennis Club in Puerto Armuelles?
The Tennis Club in Las Palmas is now open to the general public ~ All are Welcome! No experience needed. They have brand new nets, rackets, and balls and are ready to go.

Courts are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5pm.
There are also classes and tournaments to participate in at other times and all equipment is provided.
