Hi there! I’m Mary Howard, and apart from renting out parts of my beautiful property, I am also an international artist. Originally from California, I have been fortunate enough to be able to spend an extended amount of time living in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, falling in love with its exotic and colourful cultures, which quickly became the inspiration of my lifetime work as an artist.

I have been a resident in Panama now for more than 20 years and work out of my studio-gallery in Costa Esmeralda. During my lifetime, I have participated in many art shows and exhibitions, winning numerous awards for my portrait and landscape painting. My work is featured in private and corporate collections and can be found in the US, Europe and Latin America.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach students the ways of recreational painting on a one-to-one basis, and am excited to continue to offer these courses as well as art therapy on my property in Panama. Lovely and spacious 50m² casita, bright bedroom area separated from dining room/kitchen, granite kitchen counter tops, two covered parking spaces outside. Small room can be used as closet or an office.

The Studio:
Soon to be ready the 28m² art studio will be renovated with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning and warm shower.
Big windows guarantee lots of light.

The Cottage:
Our largest unit has a living room with a high peaked ceiling and many windows for lots of light, a good sized full kitchen, a separate bedroom with a queen size orthopaedic mattress. Large covered patio with wet bar. It's completely fenced for your privacy. A plunge pool for those hot afternoons.
