Over the years, Ashton Brunswick has remained committed to giving back and uplifting communities such as Lamusmus Village, located on the West Coast of New Ireland, Papua New Guinea. From donating water tanks to the local school and church, to providing solar lamps for over 150 families, our mission has always been about creating long-term, meaningful change.
Last year, this mission took a new step forward. With support from our friends in Australia, we were honoured to welcome the Burton family to Lamusmus Village.
Tamra Burton, a Learning & Development Manager at St Vincent’s Health Network, brought her expertise and compassion by visiting the local medical centre and helping organise medical supplies. Richard Burton, a successful business owner and life coach with strong ties to NSW Rugby League, ran rugby activities for the local kids using balls generously donated by NSW Rugby League — creating unforgettable moments filled with learning, laughter, and connection.
Together, as a husband-and-wife team excelling in their respective fields, Tamra and Richard brought both professional skills and genuine heart to this enriching experience.
To top it off, the story reached back to NSW Blues legend Laurie Daley, who sent a heartfelt video message of support and encouragement to the kids at Lamusmus Primary. 🙌
