CAVITE-BATANGAS EXPRESSWAY
Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) and San Miguel Corp. (SMC) have joined forces to develop the 27.6-kilometer Cavite-Batangas Expressway (CBEX), a major infrastructure project aimed at enhancing regional connectivity in Southern Luzon. The partnership also includes the proposed 60.9-kilometer Nasugbu-Bauan Expressway.
The Cavite-Batangas Expressway (CBEX) is set to traverse several towns in Cavite—Silang, Amadeo, Tagaytay, Indang, Mendez, and Alfonso—before continuing through Nasugbu and terminating in Bauan, Batangas.
This expressway is expected to strengthen the economic and social ties between the provinces of Cavite and Batangas while improving access across key areas in Southern Luzon. With CBEX complementing the existing Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Cavite will be more efficiently linked to major economic corridors, further solidifying growth across the CALABARZON region.
