Bringing Comfort, Hope, and Healing to Children💝

Sa gitna ng mga hamon na dulot ng kamakailang lindol sa General Santos City at Sarangani Province, isa sa mga komunidad na binisita ay ang Kawas, Alabel, Sarangani. Nagkaisa ang Project ARUGA Volunteers at Ayala Corporation upang maghatid ng psychosocial support at child-friendly activities para sa mga batang naapektuhan ng pangyayari. Through games, storytelling, face painting, group activities, and safe conversations, nabigyan ang mga bata ng pagkakataong ma-express ang kanilang feelings, mabawasan ang kanilang fears and worries, at muling makaranas ng joy, comfort, and hope sa kabila ng kanilang pinagdaanan.
Hindi man natin mababago ang nangyari, maaari nating tulungan ang bawat bata na maunawaan at maproseso ang kanilang emosyon sa isang ligtas, supportive, at nurturing environment. Recovery is not only about rebuilding damaged structures it is also about helping heal the hearts and minds of those affected by the disaster.
Sa bawat ngiti, laro, at kwentuhan, ipinapaalala natin sa mga bata na hindi sila nag-iisa. Nandito ang komunidad upang makinig, umalalay, at magbigay ng pag-asa habang sama-sama tayong bumabangon.

Ang lindol ay maaaring magdulot hindi lamang ng pinsala sa mga tahanan at komunidad, kundi pati na rin sa ating emosyon at mental wellbeing. Normal lang po na makaramdam ng takot, pagkabalisa, pag-aalala, struggle sa pagtulog, o pagiging emosyonal matapos ang isang nakakatakot na pangyayari.

Sa panahon ng pagbangon, mahalagang alagaan din natin ang ating isip at damdamin. Listen to yourself, connect to your family or the important person at mga kaibigan, magpahinga, and don't be afraid to ask for help if needed.

Tandaan: Ang paghingi ng suporta ay hindi kahinaan ito ay isang hakbang tungo sa paggaling.
