After the downpour came this. 🌧️➡️🌅

The skies over Hiraya turned into soft shades of lavender, pink, and gold — the kind of sunset that only comes after the rain has washed everything clean.

The mountains felt quieter.
The air felt cooler.
And for a few minutes, the whole place just stood still in the most beautiful way. 💜

This is one of our favorite things about staying in the highlands of Aloguinsan — every weather brings its own kind of magic.

And we couldn’t be more grateful. 💚

Heavy rain pouring over the pool, ripples breaking the still water, and the whole retreat coming alive again — the mountains of Aloguinsan finally breathing after weeks of heat.

It’s one of those simple, grounding moments… watching nature refill itself in real time. The kind that makes you pause without trying.
