Problem: Speedometer not working!
trouble found: Instrument panel gauge open circuit.
this kind of Unit is not using a proto type speed sensor like Gear type and cable type. it is using a Solid estate sensor like a crankshaft sensor located at the back of transmission. It has a working voltage of 12V, a ground, and signal wire going to Computer Box.
You can check the Sensor if working by using Scanner through Data stream.
start the engine while the OBD2 scanner is in data stream mode under "Speed". run the vehicle and monitor the scanner and you will see if it is working or not. 👍👍👍
