According to PAGASA, there are no weather disturbances currently developing outside the Philippines Area of Responsibility (PAR) that may become a Low-Pressure Area (LPA) in the coming days. However, the southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring scattered rains to various parts of the country, including Visayas, Southern Luzon, Central Luzon, and Northern Luzon.
LPA Update
A Low-Pressure Area (LPA) was previously located near Taiwan, but its chances of developing into a tropical cyclone have diminished.
Rainfall Forecast:
The southwest monsoon will bring scattered rains to Visayas and parts of Luzon, particularly in CALABARZON. These rains are expected to start in the afternoon to evening in the coming days.
