Build build build... Main road at Barangay Ortega, Bacnotan, La Union has been widened and repaved ... Another 20 Million budget has been approved to complete the repaving to the national highway ... Farmer's Center and gymnasium are also under construction .. This will be followed at 5:O0PM by a Panel Discussion with Secretary William Dar and team; La Union Provincial Agriculturist Ramon Laudencia; Carlos Cabochan of the Philippine Customer Centric Traders Association (supermarket owners association); Ma Rhodora Bañares, Chairperson of IOT Valley Corp; and Joey Ortega, Chairman and CEO of the Don Joaquin Smart City. IOT Technology Inc Pres Leo Lirio will serve as Moderator. The DJSC Business Partners Networking Event will follow from 5:30 onwards. Provincial Agriculturist Ramon Laudencia will induct the officers and members of the IVATTOO Coop at 6:30PM.

Thanks to our partners, investors, guests and family members who attended our groundbreaking and dedication ceremony luncheon at Don Juan Hall, Puerto de San Juan Resort Hotel and at Barangay Ortega, Bacnotan, La Union :-) Our Don Joaquin Smart City, a planned self-sustaining community, will have its own renewable energy, water, sewage system, clinic, food supply, basic commodities in our town center, and smart security features so we'll be prepared for any eventuality like the lockdown that's currently being imposed in Metro Manila :-)

Groundbreaking ceremony for DJSC will be on March 10, 2020. Let's celebrate the birthday of the original landowner Gov Joaquin J. Ortega, first elected Governor of La Union.
