From the Word of God
📖 Bible Verse — Matthew 6:32
English:
"For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them." — Matthew 6:32
Tagalog:
"Sapagkat ang lahat ng bagay na ito ay pinaghahangad ng mga Hentil. At alam ng inyong Ama na nasa langit na kailangan ninyo ang lahat ng ito." — Mateo 6:32
đź’ˇ Insight:
Jesus says this right after teaching us not to worry about basic needs — food, clothing, shelter. He reminds us that our heavenly Father already knows exactly what we need, even before we ask. The world chases after these things with anxiety and restlessness, as if our security depends on them alone. But as God’s children, we have a Father who sees us, cares for us, and faithfully provides for us.
This verse invites us to swap worry for trust. It’s not that our needs don’t matter — it’s that God matters more. When we know Him as our good, loving Provider, we can live free from fear, knowing He will never leave us lacking what is best for our good and His glory.
Key lessons:
- ✨ God knows your needs before you speak them — you don’t have to convince Him.
- ✨ You are His beloved child — you matter more than anything else to Him.
- ✨ Trust, don’t worry — your Father’s care is far greater than your anxiety.
🙏 Short Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You that You know all my needs before I even say a word. Help me to stop worrying and instead rest in Your loving care. I trust that You are my faithful Provider, and I will seek Your kingdom first, knowing You will add everything I need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
