Sa wakas, magsisimula na ang ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION ng LRT-1 Cavite Extension!

Excited na kaming simulan ang pagtatayo ng LRT-1 Cavite Extension mula Baclaran patungong Niog sa Bacoor, Cavite, na matagal nang hinihintay ng publiko.

But, wait! May ilang nagtatanong kung ano ba ang kaibahan ng groundbreaking ceremony ng proyekto noong May 2017 sa magaganap na "start of actual construction" bukas.

Para malinaw pa sa araw, isa-isahin po natin.

UNA - Bukas, Martes, ika-07 ng Mayo 2019, sisimulan na ang FULL-BLAST construction ng LRT-1 Cavite Extension. Ibig sabihin, this is it na talaga -- hukay, poste, tracks and all!

PANGALAWA - Ang isinagawa noong May 2017 ay isang groundbreaking ceremony kung saan minarkahan natin ang simula ng pre-construction activities para sa LRT-1 Cavite Extension. Isang masalimuot na problemang inayos ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) sa pre-construction phase ng proyekto ay iyong tinatawag na Right of Way Acquisition (ROWA).

Alam niyo po bang 2007 pa nagsimula ang ROWA para sa proyektong ito? Ngunit, noong pumasok ang kasalukuyang administrasyon noong July 2016, 0% pa lang dito ang na-certify na “Free and Clear” ng Independent Consultant. As in zero. Pero hinabol natin ito, at sa wakas ay nagawa rin.

PANGATLO - Anu-ano pa po ang mga nagawa natin para sa proyekto habang nasa pre-construction phase ito? Maliban sa ROWA, nakumpleto natin ang relocation ng Informal Settler Families (ISFs), utilities, at ang paglilinis ng construction yard.

Dagdag na riyan, lahat ng kinakailangan para matuloy ang proyektong ito ay nakahanda na.

Ang 120 Light Rail Vehicles (LRVs), na kung saan na-deliver na ang mock-up nito noong January 2019, ay on-track nang maipapadala para sa pagsisimula ng partial operations ng extension line sa 4th Quarter ng 2021.

Napirmahan na rin nitong February 2019 ang kontrata para sa expansion ng Baclaran Depot at pagtatayo ng bagong Zapote Depot, at handa nang simulan ang mga ito.

Ready na rin ang pagtatayo ng mga viaduct at mga istasyon sa pangangasiwa ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), dahil certified na as “FREE AND CLEAR” ng Independent Consultant (IC) ang mahigit 90% ng Right of Way (ROW) ng Package 1.

Ngayong handa na ang mga parte para sa pagbuo ng LRT-1 Cavite Extension, pwede-pwedeng na tayong umusad sa konstruksyon ng nasabing proyekto.

IN CLOSING - Sana ‘ho ay ‘wag tayong maghilahan pababa. Magpamalas tayo ng suporta. Don't be NEGA. Sinisiguro namin sa inyo na siyento porsyentong tuloy ang proyektong ito.

At sa loob po ng dalawang taon, pwede nang mag-operate ang unang limang istasyon ng extension line. Ginagawa po namin ang lahat upang maihatid ang serbisyong ito because THE FILIPINOS DESERVE A COMFORTABLE LIFE THROUGH ENHANCED MOBILITY AND CONNECTIVITY.
