Several areas recorded their lowest temperatures this 2025-2026 Amihan season as a cold surge envelopes the country.

La Trinidad, Benguet posted 7.5°C, which is the lowest temperature officially recorded by PAGASA this Amihan season.

Baguio City plunged to 9.0°C, its coldest temperature this season.

Both Abucay, Bataan and Tanay, Rizal registered a Baguio-level chill of 16.2°C, also their lowest this season.
