Enchanting Bamboo Christmas Tree in the City🎄
AROUND 200 PIECES OF BAMBOO WERE USED
The spirit of Christmas shines brightly once again as Baguio officially unveils its 2025 Christmas Tree, a stunning symbol of creativity, culture, and community spirit.
This year’s giant Christmas centerpiece was crafted by local artists Resty Lopez, Joey Quinio, Reydon Amking, and James Calicdan, whose combined vision brought a fresh and meaningful touch to the city’s annual holiday landmark.
According to lead designer Resty Lopez, the structure features around 200 pieces of bamboo sourced from Bulacan. The choice of material reflects both artistry and sustainability, blending traditional craftsmanship with eco-friendly practices—an approach consistent with Baguio’s identity as a UNESCO Creative City.
Standing tall at the heart of the city’s holiday festivities, the tree serves as a glowing reminder of the resilience and unity of the community. As thousands of lights switch on each night, residents and visitors alike are invited to gather, celebrate, and welcome the Christmas season in true Baguio fashion.
