Our History of Pursuit for Progress
E.S. Clemente Development and Management Corporation (ESC Corp.) was established in 2005. Our humble beginning can be traced back to our founder, Mr. Emmanuel S. Clemente, who worked as a Senior Manager for a well-known Philippine bank. Learning how real estate business works from his parents, he ventured out by purchasing a commercial property to be leased and
utilized as a gasoline station. This paved way to his very own ESC Petron Service Station in 1994. He became passionate in real estate development because he saw the impact of improving people's way of life. Despite having a fruitful career as a senior bank officer, he resigned and went full blast in the real estate sector. He continued purchasing and selling properties with potential commercial value and then got engaged in building and leasing commercial spaces. Clemente also diversified his businesses. He established Clemente Apartelles, which catered to Korean and Chinese Tenants. He also opened up two restaurants, the Hotshots Flame-Grilled Burgers and Harri's German Pancake and Waffles. He also became a 7Eleven franchisee located near Burnham Park. Aside from these business endeavors, he also established North Crest Review Professionals, Inc. that offers review courses for board exam takers. Realizing the need for a place to stay in the City of Baguio, Mr. Clemente acquired Villa Silvina Hotel & Restaurant on Outlook Drive. Ruperto Building was constructed beside the hotel, which leased out to a pastry shop and several gourmet restaurants. In September 2016, Mr. Clemente established a new company, San Juan Resort Development and Management Corporation, which purchased a resort hotel in San Juan, La Union. The new Puerto de San Juan Beach Resort Hotel, owned and operated by SJRDMC, is a two-hectare property located near the San Juan Municipal Hall and other prominent government and commercial establishments. With the popularity of San Juan as the "Surfing Capital of the North" and a team of professional managers, Puerto de San Juan Beach Resort Hotel enjoys steady growth. ESC Corp. continues to expand. Soon, a new 12-story condominium hotel building will rise to address the need for additional rooms. Puerto de San Juan Beach Residences is dubbed to provide luxury accommodations for the price of economy. It is designed by one of the Philippines' most respected architect and urban planner, Arch. Felino "Jun" Palafox, Jr.
