Interest in land across Bataan and parts of Zambales is rising as the long-planned Bataan–Cavite Interlink Bridge moves forward under the national government’s infrastructure program. The 32-kilometer bridge will directly connect Mariveles, Bataan to Naic, Cavite, slashing travel time from more than five hours to under an hour and strengthening trade, logistics, and tourism between Central and Southern Luzon.
Bidding and early implementation phases are already underway in 2026, with both local and international firms competing for contract packages. Chinese construction giants like China Harbour Engineering and China Wu Yi, as well as Philippine companies such as DMCI and EEI, are among those vying for key segments. Analysts note that such interest signals strong confidence in the bridge’s potential economic impact.
The project is expected to trigger a surge in real estate activity, particularly around Subic Bay and nearby growth areas. Investors and developers are eyeing industrial hubs, logistics zones, and tourism sites, betting that improved connectivity across Manila Bay will drive both commercial and residential demand in these provinces.
