Blessed Sunday.✨✨✨✨

He did not say blessed are those who have no problems. He did not say blessed are those who always get their way, who never cry, or who walk an easy road.

He said blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Him.

True blessing is not found in an easy life. It is found in having Him even when life is hard. It is found in peace that stays when everything shakes, in strength that rises when you are weak, in hope that does not break no matter what comes. You are not blessed because nothing hurts—you are blessed because He is with you through every hurt. That is the blessing He promised, and it will never fade away.
