Vicmar Homes - Batangas City

Vicmar Homes is a sustainable and affordable housing project located in Barangay San Jose Sico in Batangas City, it is focused on resource efficiency and sustainable home based food gardening, with a flexible unit layout for different users. It is one of the first to integrate "Green Architecture" & "Green Planning" into the entire development. Green Architecture doesn't stop with a green & sustainable house, it should go beyond into the design of the community, which we have integrated in this development. Our development creates an energy and resource efficient community, while encouraging each home to be an urban farm. We design each home to maximize the limited plot sizes, by designing and integrating a vertical garden fence, into the gray water irrigated home 'food' garden, and rain water collection system. Open spaces are also distributed into the homes to create a common 'parkways' where shared herbal & fruit gardens are installed. Ultimately, the homes help the households reduce daily utility costs. Provision of common area compost bins also reduce garbage disposal costs while helping keep our gardens fruitful. The ability to produce your own herbs & food, also contribute to the overall savings of each household. It is exactly what homes were meant to be.
