One of my biggest financial regrets...
Back in 2017, I bought a memorial lot. My agent encouraged me to purchase two adjacent lots, but I declined because my budget was limited and my salary wasn't enough at the time.
I ended up buying just one Premium Lot for β±69,000.
Fast forward to 2026, I decided to buy another one. This time, the only available option was a Deluxe Lot, and it cost me β±195,000. Meanwhile, the same Premium Lot I bought for β±69,000 is now worth around β±245,000.
Imagine if I had bought two Premium Lots back then. The savings and appreciation would have been incredible.
The lesson? Sometimes the inves
tments we delay become much more expensive over time.
This isn't just about memorial lots. The same applies to real estate, investing, and even learning new skills.
The best time to invest was yesterday. The second-best time is today. π
PS:
I regret it because I didn't do anything to see if I could buy another lot. I dismissed the idea right away instead of exploring the possibility that I could actually afford two.
