🇵🇭 Wake Up, Philippines. Let Us Pray for Truth, Justice, and Discernment.
Our social media feeds are filled with news about the impeachment of our Vice President. While it is important to be informed, we should also ask ourselves: Are we seeing the whole picture? Are there other issues that deserve our attention CORRUPTION, the proper use of public funds, FLOOD CONTROL PROJECTS, poverty, and the concerns that affect the daily lives of millions of Filipinos?
As followers of JESUS CHRIST, we are called not to be driven by rumors, hatred, or blind loyalty to any political leader. We are called to seek God’s wisdom and discernment.
Jesus said:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32
The Bible also reminds us:
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” — Ephesians 5:11
This is not about defending our favorite politician or attacking another. This is about loving our country enough to desire truth, righteousness, accountability, and justice.
If there are hidden agendas, may God expose them. If there is corruption, may it be brought into the light. If there is injustice, may the Lord establish justice. And if our own hearts need correction, may He humble us first.
The Philippines may seem to be surrounded by darkness, but the light of God is greater than any darkness. Let us pray that His light will shine over our nation, giving wisdom to our leaders, courage to those who uphold justice, and hope to every Filipino.
Before we post in anger, let us pray in faith.
Before we judge, let us seek God’s wisdom.
Before we take sides, let us stand on the side of truth.
May God bless the Philippines, and may His truth, justice, mercy, and peace prevail over our land.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
