๐ฑ The Earlier They Start, the Greater the Advantage ๐โจ
As we celebrate 30 years of Kumon, we are reminded that one of the greatest gifts parents can give their children is the opportunity to develop a love for learning from an early age.
When children begin Kumon in their preschool or early elementary years, they are introduced to daily learning habits during a stage when their minds are naturally curious and eager to absorb new experiences. More importantly, they have more time to build strong foundations before academic demands become greater.
Starting early helps children:
๐ Develop a consistent daily study habit
๐ Build focus, concentration, and self-discipline
๐ Strengthen foundational Math and Reading skills step by step
๐ Gain confidence through small, achievable successes
๐ Learn to study independently with less reliance on others
๐ Develop perseverance and resilience when facing challenges
As these habits grow, children are often better prepared to take on more advanced schoolwork with confidence. Instead of simply keeping up, they can continue building on a solid foundation at a pace that matches their readiness.
At Kumon, the goal isn't to rush children aheadโit's to help them become independent learners who enjoy learning and are equipped with skills that will benefit them throughout their education and beyond.
Every child has the potential to grow. Starting early gives that potential more time to flourish.
๐ Happy 30th Anniversary, Kumon!
For 30 years, Kumon has been helping young learners build strong foundations, confident minds, and lifelong learning habitsโone day, one worksheet, and one achievement at a time.
