Ready for Occupancy vs. Pre-Selling, what's the key differenceโ
Ready-for-Occupancy or RFO refers to real estate properties, such as condominiums and houses, that have already been constructed and are readily available for occupancy. These properties have already increased in value due to market movement over time. However, the main advantage of acquiring RFOs is that the buyer can move in right away once the transaction is completed.
Pre-selling properties are those that are still under development but are already offered for purchase or under the pre-selling stage. The most common types of pre-selling properties are houses and condominiums. Pre-selling property buyers have the advantage of hand-picking the house or unit they prefer the most from the available options before anyone else. For individuals on a restricted budget, pre-selling should be the preferred option to consider.
