Jake Paul’s new MMA promotion, MVP MMA, made a strong first impression with its debut event headlined by the long-awaited fight between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano. The event was streamed globally on Netflix and featured several major combat sports stars.

The biggest moment of the night came when Rousey returned to MMA after nearly 10 years away and defeated Carano in just 17 seconds using her signature armbar submission. Carano was also making a comeback after a 17-year absence from professional MMA.

After the fight, Rousey became emotional and said that Carano was one of the reasons she originally started training in MMA, showing respect for Carano’s influence on women’s combat sports.

The event also featured other major fights:

* Francis Ngannou scored a dominant win.
* Mike Perry defeated Nate Diaz in a bloody fight.
* Several knockout finishes helped make the event exciting for fans.

The article’s main focus is not only the fights themselves, but whether MVP MMA can truly become a serious competitor in combat sports. With Netflix backing the broadcast, celebrity fighters, big paydays, and strong fan attention, the promotion showed potential. However, the challenge now is whether Jake Paul and MVP MMA can continue building momentum after a successful first show.

Nintendo’s 2026 lineup for the Switch 2 is becoming one of the biggest gaming release calendars in years. The upcoming console is getting a mix of classic Nintendo franchises, major remakes, and huge third-party titles.

Some of the biggest reveals include:

* Yoshi and the Mysterious Book launching May 21
* A surprise Star Fox reboot/remake arriving June 25
* Final Fantasy VII Rebirth coming June 3
* Splatoon Raiders introducing a stronger single-player experience
* 007 First Light and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition also heading to Switch 2 later in 2026

Fans are especially shocked by the return of Star Fox, since the franchise has been mostly inactive for nearly a decade. Nintendo is also leaning heavily into third-party support to strengthen the Switch 2 launch year.

For years, creating a new Gmail account automatically gave users 15GB of free storage shared across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.

But now… Google may be changing the game.

New reports suggest some new Gmail users are only getting 5GB of storage by default instead of the usual 15GB. And yes the internet is already reacting.

So what’s happening?

Apparently, Google is testing a new system where users can unlock the full 15GB for free only by linking a phone number to their Google account.

Google says this move is designed to improve security, reduce spam, stop fake accounts, and fight bot abuse across its platforms.

But online? People are divided.

Some users think it’s actually smart helping protect accounts and reduce fake profiles.

Others believe this is another step toward collecting more personal data and pushing users deeper into Google’s ecosystem.

And here’s the part that really got people talking…

Google quietly updated some of its support pages. Instead of saying users get “15GB free storage,” some pages now say users can get “up to 15GB” of free storage.

Small wording. Massive implications.

Right now, this appears to be only a limited test in select regions, and Google hasn’t officially confirmed a worldwide rollout yet. But if this becomes permanent, it could completely change how future Gmail accounts are created and managed.

So now the big question is…

Would YOU give Google your phone number just to unlock the full 15GB?

Or would you keep your privacy and stay with only 5GB?

The Cleveland Cavaliers just survived a massive scare against the Detroit Pistons, winning Game 5 in overtime 117-113 and taking a 3-2 series lead.

Detroit looked like they had this game locked up. Cade Cunningham was absolutely dominating with 39 points, the Pistons crowd was going crazy, and Cleveland was down by nine late in the fourth quarter.

But then everything changed.

James Harden stepped up with a playoff-best 30 points, Donovan Mitchell hit clutch shots in overtime, and the Cavaliers suddenly flipped the momentum completely.

Evan Mobley and Max Strus also delivered huge plays during the comeback as Cleveland secured their first road playoff win of the postseason.

Now here’s where things get controversial.

At the end of regulation, Pistons fans were furious after a no-call involving Ausar Thompson and Jarrett Allen during a loose-ball play that many believed should have been a foul.

Social media exploded immediately after the game, with fans debating whether Detroit got robbed in the final seconds.

Now the pressure shifts completely to Game 6.

The Cavaliers are now one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals, while the Pistons are officially fighting for survival.

Can Detroit bounce back?
Or is Cleveland about to close this series out?

The New York Yankees may have a serious problem on their hands after star pitcher Max Fried exited Wednesday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles due to left elbow soreness.

Fried lasted only three innings and threw 61 pitches before suddenly walking off the field and heading straight into the clubhouse with trainers. The Yankees later confirmed that the issue involves posterior soreness in his left elbow, and he’s now scheduled for imaging and further medical evaluation.

This is huge news for New York because Max Fried has been one of the Yankees’ most consistent pitchers this season. He entered the game with a strong ERA and was leading the league in innings pitched.

Fans are especially worried because the Yankees are already dealing with rotation concerns while Gerrit Cole continues recovering from injury issues.

Before leaving the game, Fried gave up three runs on five hits and struggled with command once again something analysts had already noticed during his previous outing against Milwaukee.

Now the big question is: how serious is this injury? And can the Yankees survive if Fried misses significant time?

We’ll continue monitoring updates as medical results come in.

The "Silly" De-Stress Menu

• The Silent Scream: Open your mouth as wide as possible as if you are letting out a massive, cinematic roar but don't let any sound come out. It stretches your jaw muscles and looks hilarious in the mirror.

• The Noodle Shake: Stand up and imagine your bones have turned into cooked spaghetti. Shake your arms, legs, and torso with zero coordination for 30 seconds.

• Narrate Your Life: Start describing your current (boring) task in the voice of a dramatic nature documentary host or a sports commentator. "And here we see him, approaching the coffee machine with the grace of a gazelle..."

• The "Terrible" Drawing: Take a piece of paper and spend two minutes drawing the absolute worst version of your stressor. Give it googly eyes or a funny hat. It’s hard to stay intimidated by a "scary" deadline that has a propeller hat.

• Pet a "Cloud": If you don't have a pet nearby, find the softest thing you own a blanket, a plushie, or even a fleece jacket and give it an aggressive amount of attention for a minute.

• The High-Five: Give yourself a high-five in the mirror. It feels goofy, but it’s a surprisingly effective way to acknowledge that you’re doing your best.

Australia’s 2026 Federal Budget highlights a growing global economic problem now being felt from Australia to the Philippines.

The government announced tax relief, housing reforms, and cost-of-living support to help workers and first-home buyers as inflation, rising oil prices, and economic uncertainty continue to pressure families worldwide.

More than 13 million Australians are expected to receive tax offsets, while healthcare, infrastructure, and small business support will increase. However, property investors face reduced tax benefits, and critics warn rents could rise even more.

The situation mirrors struggles in the Philippines, where many families are also dealing with rising grocery prices, expensive fuel, increasing rent, and higher daily living costs.

With global instability, inflation, and oil price pressures continuing across multiple countries, many experts warn that the economic challenges facing ordinary workers and families may continue in the months ahead.
