Geodetic Engineer
The Geodetic Engineer in the Project Development Department is responsible for conducting land surveys, mapping, and geospatial data collection to support the planning, design, and ex*****on of development projects. The role ensures that all geodetic and land-related data used in project development are accurate, legally compliant, and aligned with technical standards. This position plays a critical role in the early-stage assessment and ongoing management of project sites.
Qualifications: (to be assigned at Cabanatuan and other project sites)
· Licensed Geodetic Engineer (PRC registered).
· At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in land surveying, preferably in project development or construction.
· Proficient in using surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Drone/UAV) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
· Knowledge of land laws, zoning regulations, and permitting processes in the Philippines.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct topographic, hydrographic, and boundary surveys of project sites.
· Prepare accurate site development maps, survey plans, and location plans using total stations, GPS, drones, and other geodetic equipment.
· Establish and verify ground control points and benchmarks necessary for design and construction.
· Prepare and certify survey returns, lot plans, relocation surveys, and subdivision plans.
· Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., DENR, LRA, HLURB, LGUs).
· Assist in the preparation of land titling documents and provide technical support for land acquisition and property consolidation.
· Process and interpret geodetic data using CAD and GIS software.
· Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies between plans and on-ground conditions.
· Maintain an organized and secure archive of geodetic data, maps, and related documentation.
· Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, and contractors to integrate geodetic data into project designs.
· Provide geodetic input during feasibility studies, site evaluations, and master planning.
· Assist in monitoring project boundaries and potential encroachments during construction.
· Liaise with government agencies (e.g., DENR, DAR, LGUs) for survey approvals, land conversion, and other permits.
· Ensure timely submission and approval of geodetic documents required for project development.
