— but since we sell townhomes,
I believe this is something worth highlighting.
One thing I realized while reading our subdivision’s community group is that many homeowners use their allotted parking spaces for purposes other than parking their vehicles—such as extending their living area, creating a veranda, or for other personal uses.
As a real estate broker, this reminded me how important our role is—not just in closing a sale, but in making sure our clients fully understand every detail of the property they’re buying.
Whenever I assist my clients, I always advise them to physically check if their vehicle fits the allotted parking space. If possible, I even recommend fitting their car during the site visit or checking it again before turnover.
It may seem like a small detail, but it can prevent future misunderstandings with neighbors, the homeowners’ association, and the developer.
Knowledge is part of our service.
To my fellow brokers and salespersons, let’s never underestimate the value of providing complete and accurate information.
Every detail we share helps our clients make informed decisions and protects them from unnecessary issues after they move in.
A good real estate professional doesn’t just sell properties—we build trust by guiding our clients every step of the way, even beyond turnover.
