We urge all residents and fellow community members to stay vigilant. Multiple individuals have fallen victim to a fraudulent page posing as a legitimate resort in Pansol.
The FB page, operating under the name:

…has been accepting down payments of ₱5,000–₱6,000 through Maya mobile wallet (0953 140 0457) and then disappearing with no response or confirmation afterward.

This scam is targeting families planning vacations, especially around peak seasons. Let’s help stop it together.
✅ WHAT WE CAN ALL DO:
a. REPORT THE PAGE TO META (Facebook)
- Visit the fake FB page:

- Click on the “...” next to the “Message” button.
- Tap “Report Page”
- Choose: Something about this Page → Fake Profile → A Business
- Then input this correct resort name:

b. SEND A FORMAL EMAIL COMPLAINT

Subject: Request for the Investigation and Deactivation of a Scam Maya Account
(can be a photo of a hand-written complaint)
Include the following in your message:
- Scammer’s number: 0953 140 0457
- Screenshots of Maya transaction, FB conversation, and booking attempt
- Attach the fake FB Page link: https://www.facebook.com/pansolhotspringresortph
- Brief incident narrative: Posing as a resort, collecting down payments, then no longer responding
- Best if you can: Attach a barangay or police blotter
