From a simple dream… to slowly becoming a reality. 🙏

K&R Apartment started in Carcar with hard work, faith, sleepless nights, and the hope that one day, maybe… just maybe… we could expand beyond our hometown. Back then, having a K&R Apartment in Cebu City/Mandaue City felt impossible. It was just something we talked about and dreamed about quietly.

But today, we officially secured our very first one-bedroom unit in the City.❤️

It’s still a work in progress. We’re slowly renovating, furnishing, and preparing it with the same care and love we gave to every room in Carcar. Every curtain, every bed, every small detail — all coming from hard work and sacrifice.

This may be just another unit to some people, but for us, it represents growth, risk, courage, and answered prayers.

To everyone who supported K&R Apartment from the beginning — our guests, friends, family, neighbors, and everyone who shared, recommended, and believed in us… thank you. You are all part of this milestone.

We’re still far from where we want to be, but this is proof that small beginnings can lead to something bigger than we imagined.

Carcar was the start.
Cebu City/Mandaue City is the next chapter.
And we’re just getting started. 🚀🏠

14 days booked through Airbnb… and already feels like part of the community. 🍻🇯🇵🇵🇭

Joe, our Japanese guest, is currently working as an engineer at a shipyard in Toledo City. Even though it’s quite a distance from here, he still chose to stay at K&R Apartment and rides his motorbike to work every single day. Respect. 🏍️

What’s even better is seeing him bond with our long-term Filipino tenant over beers and karaoke after work. Different languages, different cultures — but somehow they still understand each other perfectly. And when words become difficult, they simply use sign language, laughter, and good vibes. 😂🎤🍺

Moments like these remind us that K&R Apartment is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a place where people from different parts of the world connect, share stories, and build friendships.

From Japan to Cebu, welcome home, Joe. 🙏

Summer vacation for some kids means rest and gadgets. ❤️
But here at K&R Apartment , it also became a chance to learn responsibility, teamwork, and the value of hard work.

These young boys may still be small, but they are already helping prepare rooms, clean spaces, and make sure every guest arrives to a comfortable stay. Little by little, they are learning that every clean room, fresh linen, and satisfied guest comes from effort behind the scenes.

K&R Apartment was built with family, sacrifice, and perseverance — and we hope the next generation grows up understanding and appreciating that journey too.

One day, they may run this place better than we ever could. 🙏
