Hon. Emilou "Miloy" Nuñez declares suspension of classes in all levels in Public and Private Schools including work of teaching and non-teaching personnel, and government offices in the Municipality effective June 8, 2026 due to 7.8 Magnitude Earthquake.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and welfare of all learners, teachers, school personnel, and the community while assessments and monitoring are being conducted.

We urge everyone to remain calm, stay vigilant, and continue monitoring official announcements from the Local Government Unit and relevant authorities for further updates and instructions.

The LGU Cateel Human Resource Management Office successfully conducted the “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖: 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢” training in partnership with Happy-J Training and Development Services.

This meaningful activity aimed to strengthen teamwork, leadership, resilience, and excellence among employees in delivering quality public service to the people of Cateel.

The Municipal Health Office of Cateel successfully participated in the Regional Mode of Verification (MOV) Review for the Healthy Workplace FITools On-Site Means of Verification conducted today, April 13, 2026.

This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) Cateel, highlighting the strong partnership in promoting a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment for all employees.

The review process marks an important step in assessing the municipality’s compliance with the standards of the Healthy Workplace Program. The official rating and results are yet to be released.
MHO Cateel remains committed to strengthening workplace health initiatives and ensuring the well-being of all personnel.
