The Municipal Government of Cateel informs the public that Executive Order No. 20, Series of 2026, issued by Hon. Mayor Emilou C. Nuรฑez, adopts Memorandum Circular No. 114 mandating energy conservation measures in government offices.
As part of this initiative, the Municipal Government will implement a Compressed Workweek (Four-Day Workweek) for government employees to promote energy efficiency and reduce electricity and fuel consumption.
New Office Schedule (Effective March 12, 2026):

Monday to Thursday
โฐ 7:00 AM โ 6:00 PM (10 hours per day)
โ Fridays โ Offices Closed
This schedule allows government employees to complete the standard 40-hour workweek within four days, enabling the closure of offices on Fridays to maximize energy savings.
Assurance of Continuous Public Services
The Municipality assures the public that essential and frontline services will remain fully operational despite the compressed workweek. The following offices will continue to provide uninterrupted services:
1. Municipal Health Office
2. Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (Emergency Response and Public Safety Unit)
3. Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office
5. Municipal Economic Enterprise Office (Market, Terminal, and Slaughterhouse)
4. Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (Garbage Collection Unit and Sand & Gravel Operations)
These offices will ensure that critical services to the public will not be disrupted.
The Municipal Government of Cateel encourages everyone to plan their transactions accordingly and supports this initiative toward energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
