Another good news for Lancaster New City residents
Health care will now be more accessible to them with the proposed CITY OF GENERAL TRIAS SPECIALISTS MEDICAL CENTER (CGSMC)
This seven-storey private hospital will soon rise in the progressive General Trias City, more specifically, along Arnaldo Highway in Brgy. Sta. Clara, near Luis A. Ferrer National High School — GFMINHS Annex.
Classified as a Level 2 General Hospital (Secondary Hospital), CGSMC will provide a broader range of medical services than a Level 1 Hospital but will not have the full array of specialized services available at a Level 3 Hospital, such as the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (Trece Martires), De La Salle University Medical Center (Dasmariñas), and St. Paul Hospital Cavite (Dasmariñas).
Specifically, CGSMC will be characterized by the following services:
• EMERGENCY SERVICES
More advanced emergency care capabilities, with a 24/7 emergency department that can handle a wider variety of urgent medical situations.
• INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Greater capacity for inpatient care with more specialized wards, such as intensive care units (ICUs) and surgical wards.
• DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES
Access to more sophisticated diagnostic equipment and testing, including advanced imaging technologies like CT scans and MRIs.
• SURGICAL SERVICES
The ability to perform more complex surgical procedures that may not be available at a Level 1 Hospital.
• SPECIALTY CARE
Availability of various medical specialties and subspecialties, such as cardiology, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, pulmonology, and oncology.
• STAFFING
Usually staffed by general practitioners, specialists in various fields, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• CAPACITY
It has a reasonable capacity for both outpatient consultations and inpatient admissions, catering to a larger catchment area compared to primary care facilities.
