In celebration of the annual Feast of St. John the Baptist, the Regada Center proudly joined Cavite City’s vibrant Regada Festival 2025! 🎉

From giant water slides for the kids to a fun-filled foam machine, the Regada Center brought unforgettable joy to the community! 🫧

We are honored to have welcomed Cavite City Mayor Denver Chua and other city officials who personally joined in the festivities and witnessed the excitement we prepared for everyone.

In our yearly tradition, we celebrate the Cavite City Water Festival more popularly known as "REGADA" every 24th of June to honor the feast day of Saint John the Baptist.

The Regada Water Festival started in 1996 during the term of the late Mayor, Tim Encarnacion, since then, they consider it as the most festive celebration in historic city. They usually open the celebration with Madrigas, followed by street dance, colorful parades, and regada trade fairs.

The term "Regada" was derived from the spanish word "regar" from the chavacano speaking Caviteños, which means "water" or "to sprinkle."

As we now transitioned into the "New Normal," we are not allowed to gather socially and have an enjoyable event. However, let us not lose hope as we have more years to come in the future to finally celebrate and have fun with our yearly festival. We are all looking forward to it, Caviteños!
