Family Desperate for Answers

Kylee Monteiro is just 18 years old, 11 weeks pregnant, and now missing under deeply concerning circumstances.

She had been living at a homeless shelter for pregnant women in Pembroke, Massachusetts. According to her sister, Faith Monteiro, Kylee had recently been in an on-and-off relationship marked by domestic issues — including an altercation the night before she vanished.

On August 6, after that argument, Kylee reached out to friends and family, telling them she was fearful for her life.

> “She was desperate for help… The whole situation is very scary,” Faith said.

Kylee had just graduated from Attleboro High School two and a half months ago and was excited to become a mom — even choosing the name Eleanor if she had a girl. Her family says this disappearance is completely out of character and that Kylee doesn’t know how to survive on her own.

Faith had offered to pick her up that night, but Kylee declined.
