The Tops redevelopment project in Busay, Cebu City received the prestigious award as Best Commercial Building Architecture Design, besting over a thousand contenders at the 2023 Asia Architecture Design Award (AADA) held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on August 14.

Perched on a five-hectare expanse in Barangay Busay, the project provides a 360-degree panoramic view of Metro Cebu.

ArchiGlobal, Inc., the firm behind the Tops redevelopment project also won the Best Architectural Design firm award.

“This is yet another testament to the firm’s continued commitment to become a Top design firm, delivering unparalleled creativity and expertise to all our clients,” ArchiGlobal said in their Facebook post.

Established in 1985, Tops closed in October 2022 to give way for renovation of one of Cebu's tourist landmarks.
