The internationally recognized IRONMAN 70.3 Davao returns to Davao City on March 22, 2026, marking its fifth time being held in the city.

Known as the Philippines’ most competitive triathlon, participants will swim in Talomo Bay, ride across the Bucana Bridge and Davao Coastal Road, and run through the heart of the city—highlighting why Davao continues to be chosen as a host for the prestigious race.

Part of the global IRONMAN series, the event is expected to attract thousands of participants and visitors from around the world.

The continued selection of Davao City as host is seen as a result of its strong governance, reliable infrastructure, and capacity to safely stage large-scale international events.

The triathlon is also expected to boost tourism and economic activity, increasing demand for hotels, restaurants, and transport services, while strengthening the city’s position as a rising international sports destination.
