$2 BILLION “SILICON VALLEY” TO RISE IN PAMPANGA ‼️
The Philippines’ biggest global tech innovation hub is set to rise on a 200-hectare site spanning Angeles City and Mexico, Pampanga — a $2 billion project that will soon house more than 100 global technology companies.
According to businessman Dennis Uy, this “Silicon Valley of Pampanga” will create an ecosystem where fresh graduates can pursue careers in IT and related industries, while also boosting Pampanga’s economy.
Uy described the project as his way of giving back to Angeles — the city that raised him both as a child and as a struggling entrepreneur. “The Philippines has so many talented people. If you go to Silicon Valley, you will see a lot of Filipinos there. They are really good in terms of technology. What we need is to build the same ecosystem here at home,” he said.
This billion-dollar venture could finally put Pampanga — and the Philippines — on the global technology map.
