Milestone for SRP: We are proud to see that work on the long-delayed Drainage Master Plan (DMP) for SRP has officially begun. The survey kicked off on December 3.
This goes beyond just concrete and pipes this is about ensuring safety, sustainability, and readiness for a rapidly growing urban hub. With SRP housing malls, condos, offices, and entertainment spots, effective drainage is key to preventing flooding and ensuring smooth daily life.
What impresses me most: the project is locally funded by SRP’s active locators. That public private collaboration with the city government and consultancy firm MGR Consultancy and Allied Services, Inc. shows strong shared commitment to community welfare and long-term urban resilience.
Also worth noting: alongside the drainage plan, a comprehensive traffic-management study for SRP is now underway, acknowledging that development must be holistic: flood control, mobility, and infrastructure working together.
This is a timely investment in infrastructure that aligns with responsible urban development principles a great model for other growing communities planning for climate resilience, urban expansion, and public safety.
