From guest to host and what a journey it has been.

Before, when I was the one booking stays, I always did my research. I checked the location, the distance, and whether it matched my travel plans. I rated based on my actual experience during the stay.

Now, one year into hosting, I see everything from a different perspective.

We provide a clean and comfortable space.
We give clear instructions.
We assist whenever needed.
We truly host with heart.

And yes — we’ve received perfect 10 ratings. We’ve also received a 6.

That’s the reality of hosting.

Not every review reflects effort. Not every rating reflects preparation. Some guests rate based on factors already stated before booking and that’s part of the journey too.

What I’ve learned is this:
A perfect 10 doesn’t make you perfect.
A 6 doesn’t make you a failure.
Consistency, integrity, and continuous improvement matter more than one number.

To fellow hosts, especially those just starting, don’t let one lower rating shake your confidence. Learn from it, grow from it, but don’t be discouraged by it.
