PROJECT UPDATES:

The Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC) will start the registration and installation of RFID stickers for motorcycles with engine displacements from 125cc to 399cc on July 1, 2022. These motorcycles can also pass Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) starting on the said date.

CCLEX RFID registration and installation are for Class 1M effective July 1 will be for FREE. To register, please follow these four easy steps:

1. Go to our website at cclex.com.ph and click on REGISTER.
2. Pick a date and installation site.
3. In choosing a vehicle class, select Class 1M.
4. Show your QR code to our installers during your appointment together with your OR/CR.

The RFID sticker for motorcycles will be installed on the motorcycles’ plastic headlamp. If the headlamp is made of glass, the RFID sticker will be placed on the visor or mudguard.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE SRP ROTORUNDA AND THE 1KILOMTER BAYWALK.

One of the features of the SRP Roundabout is a 1 kilometer Baywalk. This is like Cebu's version of the Mall of Asia Baywalk, with an awesome view of the CCLEX, as well as the skyline of Cebu City.

A one-kilometer baywalk comprised of the following structures.
▪️ A BAY WALK measuring 1 kilometer in length and 5 meters in width is available for pedestrians
One of the features of the SRP Roundabout is a 1-kilometer Baywalk. This is like Cebu's version of the Mall of Asia Baywalk, with an awesome view of the CCLEX, as well as the skyline of Cebu City.

The images below are from the groundbreaking ceremony of the Global City Mandaue, which is considered Cebu's most prestigious waterfront city and a world-class reclamation project.

Among other things, the 101-hectare reclamation project at Cansaga Bay from the area near the Marcelo Fernan Bridge to the area near Barangay Paknaan will be a mixed-use project incorporating residential, commercial, and luxury waterfront facilities.

PROJECT UPDATE: THE CCLEX IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; TOLL FEES ARE NOW AVAILABLE

The Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) officially opened on the 30th of April. In a ceremony led by President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, the 8.9-kilometer expressway was inaugurated last April 27.

CCLEX toll rates have already been approved by the Local Toll Regulatory Council (LTRC).

The approved rates are:

• P90 for Class I vehicles such as cars, jeepneys, pick-ups, vans, and motorcycles. The CCLEC is still looking into how much of a discount to give for motorcycles under 400cc.

• P180 for Class I vehicles above 7ft in height (except when the top load is recreational equipment such as bikes, surfboards, and the like which must be securely fastened and not intended for commercial use).

• P180 for Class II vehicles such as light trucks, tourist/school, and public utility buses.

• P270 for Class III vehicles such as heavy and multi-axle trucks and trailers.

The CCLEX RFID card that is necessary to use the expressway is still on a cash basis.

Cebu's newest icon, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX), will be inaugurated by President Rodrigo Duterte on April 27, 2022.

As part of the CCLEX project, the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC), builder of the expressway, has announced motorcycles with engines below 400 cc will be allowed to pass the expressway by July this year. Accordingly, the CCLEX Bridge Management Board has approved this move. The city will also open a sidewalk for pedestrians and bicyclists in July 2022.
