Save this list before your next condo viewing. 👇
1. What is the TOTAL cost of the unit?
Don’t look only at the advertised price. Ask about taxes, fees, parking, association dues, and other charges.
2. What will my actual monthly payment be?
Ask for a complete payment schedule—not just the reservation fee or monthly equity.
3. When is the turnover date?
Know the expected turnover and what happens if there are delays.
4. What are the monthly association dues?
Ask what they cover and whether you should expect increases over time.
5. What amenities are included?
Check which facilities are actually part of the project and which may have separate fees.
6. What are the rules for renting the unit?
Especially important if you’re planning long-term rental or Airbnb/short-term stays.
7. What is being developed around the property?
🏗️ Look beyond the building. Study the township, roads, commercial areas, businesses, and other planned developments.
8. Who is the target market for this location?
Ask: “If I want to rent or sell this later, who would want this property?”
9. What is my exit strategy?
Are you buying to live, rent, operate short-term stays where permitted, or resell?
10. What happens if my financial situation changes?
Understand the contract, payment deadlines, cancellation policies, financing requirements, and other consequences before signing.
