The Sangguniang Kabataan officials of Barangay's Candajec, Buacao, Bontud, and Poblacion Norte successfully participated in the Training on the Handbook on the Financial Transactions of the Sangguniang Kabataan organized and conducted by the Commission on Audit Region VII held last May 18β21, 2026.
This meaningful activity became an avenue for young leaders to deepen their understanding of proper financial management, accountability, budgeting, recording, and transparency in public service. Through lectures, workshops, and collaborative activities, the participants gained valuable knowledge and skills that will help them become more effective and responsible SK officials in serving their respective barangays.
Beyond the learnings and experiences shared throughout the training, the participating SK officials also proudly brought home recognitions and awards, receiving the distinction of Best in Recapitulation and Best in Energizer β a testament to their teamwork, active participation, dedication, and enthusiasm during the entire duration of the activity.
These achievements reflect the commitment of the youth leaders to continuously improve themselves not only in governance and leadership, but also in fostering camaraderie, cooperation, and excellence. Truly, empowered youth leaders create empowered communities.
