HIRING - Creative Marketing & Growth Specialist
REMOTE WORK - AU-VA
We are hiring a Creative Marketing & Growth Specialist to lead marketing direction, campaign strategy, and eCommerce growth initiatives.
This role is not ex*****on-heavy in email marketing or SEO — those functions are handled by external agencies. Instead, your responsibility is to guide, review, optimise, and ensure performance outcomes from these channels.
You will act as the central owner of marketing performance, ensuring all activities align with revenue goals, product strategy, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Direction
Define monthly campaign themes, offers, and priorities
Identify products, brands, and categories to promote based on performance data
Provide clear briefs and direction to agencies for campaign ex*****on
Ensure all campaigns align with business objectives (revenue, stock movement, margins)
Conduct bi-monthly reviews with marketing agencies and hold them accountable to outcomes
2. Email Marketing Oversight (Agency Managed)
Own overall email marketing strategy and performance
Review automation flows and campaign performance weekly
Provide direction on:
Segmentation strategy
Campaign messaging and positioning
Lifecycle improvements (abandoned cart, reactivation, post-purchase)
Conduct monthly performance reviews (revenue, CTR, engagement, list health)
Identify gaps and instruct agencies on optimisation priorities
3. SEO & Content Direction (Agency Managed)
Oversee and review AISEO work across categories, brands, and product pages
Validate keyword targeting, content quality, and structure
Guide agencies on:
Category page improvements
Blog/content roadmap
Product-level SEO enhancements
Ensure SEO aligns with search intent, conversion goals, and AU market relevance
4. Website Merchandising & Conversion Optimisation
Own homepage, category, and product merchandising strategy

Featured products and collections
Category structure and navigation improvements
Review and optimise:
Product titles and positioning
Filters and search experience
Continuously improve customer journey and conversion rates
5. Performance Reporting & Commercial Insights
Analyse and generate insights from:
Top 100 / Top 500 best-selling products
Top-performing brands
New product launches
Stock and inventory trends
Translate insights into:
Campaign decisions
Product promotion strategies
Bundling and upsell opportunities
Use data to drive marketing priorities and revenue growth
6. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation
Monitor and manage customer reviews and feedback loops
Flag critical issues impacting brand perception or conversion
Improve review flows and trust signals on the website
Work with internal teams to ensure marketing reflects actual customer experience
7. Digital Assets & Marketing Collateral
Oversee creation of digital catalogues (quarterly)
Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and positioning
Support campaigns with structured, high-conversion marketing assets
Key Skills & Experience
3–6 years in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, or Growth roles
Strong understanding of email marketing and SEO (strategy level, not ex*****on)
Experience managing or working with external agencies
Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action
Experience with WooCommerce, Omnisend, or similar platforms
Commercial awareness (margins, stock movement, product lifecycle)
