🤗The Joy of Jesus🤗

☝️Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.👑

• What joy is there when Jesus was wounded not for His but for our transgression, bruised not for His but for our iniquities, chastised for our peace, striped for our healing? (Isaiah 53:5)What joy is there when Jesus was crowned with thorns, nailed on the cross and His side was pierced open?
• The joy of Jesus is to set us free from the slavery of sin by the truth of Jesus. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin…For he whom the Son will set free, he shall be free indeed.” (John 8:32, 34, 36)🙌
• What kept Jesus hanging on the cross? Not the nails! It was His love for us and the joy of saving us from the wrath to come. (1Thessalonians 1:10) And so, He endured the cross; He despised the shame. (Hebrews 12:2)🙏🏼
• Here on earth, they pierced hands and feet and side of Jesus. In heaven, His glorified body retains the marks of the nails and wounded side for us. In heaven, we see Him as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world to take away the sin of the world. (John 1:29; 1Peter 1:16-20; Rev. 5:6, 12; 13:8)☝️🙏🏼
• Jesus gave His all by dying for us. Let us give our all to Jesus by living for Him. “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.(2Corinthians 5:14-15)☝️

Romans 2:1
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

🙏🏼😍Jesus certainly makes it clear that judging is unacceptable. In more than one Gospel the message is clear: don't judge. We humans do it though! We judge for lots of reasons. One of the not so nice reasons is to make ourselves feel better. If we can judge someone to be worse than ourselves, it can make us feel superior. Often people caught doing something will turn and say that it's not as bad as what "so and so" does.

😥Other times, we make a judgment and spread whatever we think we know about another's behavior as gossip. It gives us a sense of power to act like we "know" everything. And often we are wrong in our judgments. Spreading gossip can ruin a person's reputation, often without any substance behind it and whereas we ruin more the name of Jesus in others' life. We also tend to make judgments based on color, race, gender, age, ethnicity, and all sorts of things that bias us.🙏🏼

👉Either way, sometimes the judgment may be right, sometimes not, so it's best not to judge at all. As Paul tells us, as Jesus tells us, just don't judge.❤️-Holy Bible

🚩Are You Homeward Bound?

🙏🏼Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, FOR THIS MUST TAKE PLACE, but the end is not yet…All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. (Matthew 24:6, 8)

👉The Ukraine-Russia armed conflict will soon turn into a war (meaning the whole Russian Army and not just a special militia to protect the Donbas Region of Ukraine that Russia claims them want to secede from Ukraine. Russia has come up with reasons to expand the armed conflict to a war:
1. After annexing the four oblasts (provinces) of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia through a referendum, Putin said that any attack on these provinces would be taken as an aggression against Russia and would be met by the full force of the Russian army.
2. Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his speech, “The USA was first to use nuclear weapons against Hiroshima and Nagasaki and thus set a PRECEDENT.” Has Putin found an excuse to use nuclear weapons?
3. Furthermore, Putin accuses the West of blowing up NORDStream 1 gas pipeline to Europe. Another excuse?

🙌We are now treading on the cusp of the RAPTURE of the Church Age to be followed shortly, but not immediately, by the TRIBULATION period. It starts with Revelation chapter 6 and the four horses of the apocalypse, until chapter 16, the war of Armageddon, and the final destruction of the political, spiritual, and economic Babylon in Revelation chapters 17-18).
The convergence of problems (wars and proxy wars, famine, pestilence, impending worldwide recession, climate catastrophes, energy sourcing, etc.) that we face now are worldwide, and no one is exempted.
👉World leaders and nations are in a quandary and confused about how to meet these daunting challenges. The world is ripe for the entry of a charismatic and brilliant man (the antichrist, inspirited by satan) that will catch and attract the attention, devotion, and wonder of the nations of this world. He will deceive them by providing a brilliant 7-year peace covenant, albeit false, and solutions to the confusing interconnected networks of global problems.

👆🙌The Lord Jesus said, “Now when these things BEGIN TO TAKE PLACE, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28)
“So also, WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS TAKING PLACE, you know that the kingdom of God is near. Indeed, I say to you, this generation (that will see all these signs come to pass) will not pass away (Tribulation shall only be seven years short) until all has taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.🙌
❤️But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.” (Luke 21:31-35)🙏🏼

🙏🏼If you are still reading this, it means you have the opportunity to believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, in faith, hope, and love and commit your all unto Him, for He is the author and finisher of our faith, our salvation, and eternal life.🙏🏼🙌👆❤️

🙌Christ the Power of God and the Wisdom of God🙌

🙏🏼But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (1Corinthians 1:23-24)

👏🙏🏼What a great and perfect combination! If someone has power but has no wisdom to direct his power for the good of many others, that would be disastrous, if not satanic. On the other hand, if someone has wisdom but no power to realize that wisdom for good, what a waste of wisdom, what a great frustration. But with the twin designations, the Lord Jesus Christ can make all things work together for the good of them that love Him and are responding to His call and purpose of them.

🙏🏼💞The power of God and the wisdom of God are not something but Someone, no other than the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus has the power to lay down His life and the power to take it up again (John 10:18) so that His finished work on the cross (tetelestai, John 19:30) has become the power of God unto the salvation of all them who believe (1Corinthians 1:18) to unshackle us from the tyranny of the trinity of sin (the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life, 1John 2:16). By the foolishness of preaching Christ crucified, a stumbling block unto the Jews, and unto the Greeks foolishness, the manifold wisdom of God was made known to all that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God, for God hath concluded all of us in unbelief, that Jesus Christ might have mercy upon all, to the Jew first, and also to the Greeks. Paul cannot help but give the Lord a shout of praise, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” (1Corinthians 1:23-24; Romans 11:32-33)
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)🙏🏼🙌

🙏🏼❤️It is given how generous God is with His love and gifts to us, one would think that He might be a bit vengeful and spiteful when people reject His word. The exact opposite is the case. Jesus shows extra patience and of course, He does not want anyone to perish. If He did, why would Jesus have died on the cross for our sins?ctto

The real problem was, people are not interested in knowing who Jesus is, His fullness, and his eternal purpose for all mankind.🙏🏼❤️

📌Remember, Whether we like it or not, in His judgment we will face Jesus and the verdict is what we have to accept.🙌

Jesus said,
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:21

💞And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Matthew 5:14‭-‬15 NIV
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house".

🙏🏼🍀How can we be salt and light in today's world?
Jesus tells us in the last part of this passage; let people see your good works. Of course this presumes that we are doing good works and that we are not doing them to look good, but to glorify God.🙌

🥺Everyone can recognize a hypocrite. We can tell when someone is showing off. We also can recognize people who do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
Not only are we supposed to be the light of the world but to point out to others the lights in our world.

Isaiah 40:29
"He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength".

💞We can find tremendous
comfort in this passage. JESUS is eternal. He has always been there and will always be there. He never gets tired, as we do. In fact, He gives us strength when we are weary. He understands things we cannot begin to understand and He helps us when we are weak. Jesus is our strength and refuge. Psalms 46:1

can count on Him.

Proverbs 10:29
"The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity".

💞Be reminded that JESUS's ways always lead to life and goodness. It is always profitable to follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit. But if we choose to go the other way, and follow the way of the wicked, we will find ourselves in much turmoil. Where Jesus is not involved, there can never be any good that comes out of it.💜

🙏In this world it can become very tempting to follow the ways that are contrary to Jesus. But we must choose to remain in His path. May Jesus help us to keep focused on Him in times we are tempted to sway. Just keep on praying & trusting our Lord Jesus Christ and follow His way.

"And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way".🙏

💞We all need healing, but are we "blind" to where we need healing the most? Bartimeus in today's gospel knew what needed healing and who he needed to go to in order to obtain healing. Physical needs, such as Batimaeus' blindness, are obvious, but spiritual, emotional or psychological healing can be hidden even from ourselves.
Jesus is the Doctor who knows were our deepest wounds are found and is waiting for us to come to him in order that they may be healed. Bartimaeus knew this. We need to have the faith in Jesus to bring our wounds to the light and love of his healing power, but first we need to have the courage to face them. Let's take advantage of every opportunity to ask Jesus for healing.💞
