The Anflo Group of Companies, deeply mourns the passing of our Chair Emerita, Doña Nenita R. Floirendo. She was 98.

A matriarch not only to the Floirendo family but also to the wider community, Doña Nenita lived a life of compassion and quiet strength. She played a significant role in shaping our group’s culture, grounded in malasakit, unity, and a deep sense of social responsibility.

Her legacy is evident in the Anflo Group of Companies that she built alongside our late patriarch, Don Antonio O. Floirendo, Sr., the lives they uplifted, and the vision they helped nurture. We remain committed to honoring her memory by upholding the values she championed and continuing the work she so passionately guided.

As we remember her extraordinary life, we extend our deepest sympathies to the Floirendo family and all who share in this sorrow.

Damosa Land’s Statement on the Fire Incident at Damosa Complex

Damosa Land confirms that a fire incident occurred on the evening of January 31, 2025, at one of our establishments in Damosa Gateway within the Damosa Complex, Brgy. Alfonso Angliongto, Davao City. The fire, suspected to have originated from a possible gas leak, was swiftly contained and extinguished through the prompt response of our Damosa Complex first responders and company fire truck.

Six individuals sustained minor injuries and were immediately provided with first aid before being transported to the hospital by Davao City's Central 911 emergency services. Their condition is currently being monitored and we will provide further information on this as it becomes available.

As we work closely with authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, a portion of Damosa Gateway will be temporarily closed to facilitate necessary restoration efforts. In line with our commitment to safety, we are also implementing additional precautionary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. The well-being of our employees, tenants, and patrons remains our top priority.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Damosa Complex first responders, the Central 911 team, Knighthawk Rescue team, as well as personnel from PNP Sasa and the Davao City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for their swift action and dedication during this incident.

The Property Management Office is dedicated to the well-being of our community. One major focus is ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our water.

Over the past few months, we closely monitored water quality and took corrective actions. Here's what we addressed to enhance the water in our building:

We explored various methods to improve water quality. We engaged with water providers and discussed collaboration for alternative sources. Additionally, discussions were held with a different company to potentially acquire water from a new location.

A meeting was planned with the Davao City Water District (DCWD) and the City Health Office (CHO) last August 9, 2023. During the meeting, topics of mutual concern were discussed, information was shared, and ideas were generated to enhance water quality.

We remained dedicated to keeping everyone informed about our efforts to rectify water quality issues.
