75 MPH in California isn’t really a speed limit…
it’s more like a motivational suggestion while six lanes of traffic decide your fate. 🌴🚗😭
You get on the freeway thinking: “Nice. Straight shot to Los Angeles.”
Three minutes later your GPS says: “Stay in the left three lanes to merge right, then immediately exit left.”
And now you’re spiritually confused. 💀
Do 75? You’re blocking someone in a Tesla who has already judged your entire bloodline.
Do 65? A lifted truck appears behind you with headlights brighter than the Hollywood sign at midnight.
Push 85? Congratulations. A California Highway Patrol cruiser has manifested behind one single palm tree like it was spawned by the freeway gods. 🚔🌴
Construction? Caltrans has had that same lane closed since the last time gas was affordable. Orange cones everywhere like they’re California’s official state flower. 🚧😭
Weather? Sunny in San Diego. Fog in San Francisco. Wind in the Central Valley. Rain in Los Angeles. Snow in the mountains. And somehow wildfire smoke making the sunset look cinematic for all the wrong reasons. 🌫️🔥
Half the drivers are doing 42 in the fast lane while holding iced coffee.
The other half are treating I-5 like a private runway. 🏁
And standing calmly near the shoulder? A coyote. Watching traffic like it knows your insurance deductible. 🐺💀
Meanwhile every Californian is driving one-handed with a burrito, fries, and a suspiciously expensive drink like this is a normal commute.
Welcome to California driving.
Where the freeway never ends, the lanes never make sense, construction never leaves, and the real ruler of the road… is the orange cone. 🌴🚧
