Megaworld Corporation is expanding its office developments in Davao Park District as demand for office spaces from BPO companies and multinational firms continues to grow in Davao City.
As part of its nationwide provincial expansion, Megaworld announced new office projects in key regional cities, with Davao emerging as one of its major investment priorities alongside Bulacan and Bacolod.

| Begins at SM Lanang Premier; Two 15-storey BPO Towers Set to Rise
Clearing operations have officially begun on the east side of SM Lanang Premier as construction moves forward on its major expansion project. Heavy equipment has been deployed to the area, signaling initial groundwork as part of the early phase of construction. The east expansion will feature two 15-storey BPO towers and a multi-level parking facility designed to support increased demand in the area.
The project forms part of a ₱1.7 billion initial expansion budget, which will significantly increase the mall’s overall capacity. Upon completion in 2028, SM Lanang Premier’s total floor area is projected to reach approximately 266,000 square meters. Once completed, it is projected to become the second-largest mall in Mindanao, next to SM City Davao. Davao City remains the only city in Mindanao with malls that have surpassed the 200,000-square-meter milestone, including Gaisano Mall of Davao.
Other planned expansions at SM Lanang Premier include:
• North Expansion — Larger SMX convention halls for major events and exhibitions
• West Expansion — Additional retail and leisure spaces on the SM Store side
• Park Inn by Radisson Expansion — Additional facilities to enhance hospitality capacity
• Future multipurpose building
The overall development underscores Lanang’s continued transformation into a major commercial and business hub in Davao City. As construction progresses, the expansion is expected to generate employment and stimulate further economic activity in the area. More updates are anticipated as the project advances toward its 2028 completion target.
