A 10-year-old Dabawenyo is earning praise after assisting responders during a vehicular accident along Quimpo Boulevard in Davao City on Thursday night, April 30, 2026.

The young responder, Christ Nathan Fabracuer, is the son of a trainer from the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). He was reportedly on his way to buy ice cream when he witnessed the incident and immediately assisted responders at the scene.

He is trained in basic first aid and life support through regular exposure to his father’s CDRRMO activities.

His father, Crispin Fabracuer, expressed pride online, calling him a “Batang 911” and saying he has shown a heart for rescue since childhood and emphasized that age does not matter when it comes to helping others.

Over the past few years, the property market has been hit by one challenge after another.

And yet, it is still here. Still moving and still creating wealth.

That matters.

One big reason is simple: most residential buyers in the Philippines are local end-users and long-term holders. People here do not panic-sell easily. Families buy homes to live in, keep, improve, and pass on. That gives the market a strength that is hard to fake.

For buyers, that means property remains one of the few assets you can actually use while it grows in value. For OFWs, it remains one of the most meaningful ways to turn years of sacrifice into something solid. For sellers and developers, it shows that real housing demand is still deeply rooted.

Resilient markets are not built on hype. They are built on people who believe in homeownership.
